Remember how I blogged about a decline in spam less than two months ago?

Well, it seems as if the spammers of the world have recovered, or very nearly so. In my previous article, I blogged a graph showing the sudden dip in my spam filter‘s activity. A few days ago found myself reading spam in my inbox, and — slightly puzzled — trained my filter again to avoid those mails. I wasn’t used to that any more.

So here’s the graph from the previous post again, to jog those neurons of yours:

Yesterday I then grabbed the latest graph from my spam filter, only to see a dysmal picture:

Yes, that’s right… we may not quite be back at the pre-McColo-bust level, but we’re getting there. I blame the vikings.
