New Games from the Shrimp

Just now, a package from the graceful shrimp has arrived! I’ve been waiting for this for a while. She sent it off on 2007-05-09 from New Hampshire, USA1, so it took about 5 weeks to arrive.

Inside are three games I’ve wanted to have for a while, but which are moderately hard to come by here in Germany.

Ah well, work first, unpacking later. Thank you, shrimp!

  1. I’m not going to be more precise than that. []
  2. I suppose I could have bought the PDF file, but I prefer dead tree books for reference. []
  3. The link goes to a preview article, since is not reachable right now. []

I will :) I’m not really interested in getting hooked on another game right now, but I’ll certainly look. is something I want to try out.

Cool, it runs on Linux. It’s just too bad that it’s not my kind of game.

Well, it reminds me nicely of Elite, back in the old days… but when I tried it out yesterday, it didn’t seem terribly captivating. I’ll give it a few more days, though.

I’m more of an mmorpg game player but I enjoy obscure titles from other countries as well.
